At the winemaker’s house
Just like old sepia-colored photos found in a box, the ciabòt are still there while the world that needed them is no longer there.
When engines did not exist yet, these small and simple shelters in the middle of the vineyards were the home of the winemakers, since it would have taken too long to get up and down from their real homes. They certainly did not have all the comforts of a real home, but they did not lack the cozy atmosphere of a small shelter.
Our Ciabòt
Even in our vineyards a ciabòt has remained and, as for our winery, we are always happy to share it and to let those who come to visit us participate in this experience.
But it's not up to us to decide when it's possible, and when it's not. If it rains, the mud makes it difficult to reach it. And when you can even get there, you have to take into account some inconvenience. The trail is dusty; there is no running water, no electricity, no toilets, and in summer the heat does not let up. On the other hand, there is no shortage of company… of the many species of insects that inhabit the vineyards.
The tasting
When it is possible to get there, whoever wants can enjoy a tasting right in the middle of the rows. Take a walk through the vineyards and taste the grapes directly from the branch, discover an exceptional panorama from the window… and then, of course, taste our wines accompanied by local delicacies! That it is an exciting experience is told by the eyes and smiles of those who have tried it, and who have often wanted to try it again with friends.

You can choose to have this experience in our company, so as not to miss any of Claudio's thousand stories about the vineyards, the wine, the life of today and yesterday in Vezza. Or enjoy contact with a unique environment without interference; we will prepare everything you need in the ciabòt for the agreed time and then we will leave you in total peace of mind.
Please only remember that we cannot guarantee that it will be possible to do the tasting at the time you have chosen, and that the ciabòt lacks many amenities.
